IPOH, 2 DECEMBER, 2010: A teenager was shot dead by one of two men on a motorcycle in front of a mini market in Taman Bertuah, Kampung Tawas, here yesterday, police said today.
Ipoh police chief ACP Azisman Alias said M. Regan, 17, was shot thrice as he was having a drink with friends in front of the mini market at about 6.30 pm.
The two men arrived on a motorcycle and one of them approached Regan and shot him, he said, adding that the boy died on the spot.
Regan's body had been sent to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital, he told reporters.
Azisman appealed to eye-witnesses to contact the Ipoh police headquarters at 05-2451500.
